About SNBET New Zealand

SNBET.co.nz, which by its domain would suggest is meant for audiences in New Zealand. It's our second site. SNBET.ca, dedicated to Canada, was launched in 2020. Much like New Zealand, Canada had not regulated its national market, nor its provincial markets for online gambling. Worse still, single-event sports betting was completely illegal in Canada. Even government-run lottery corporations required parlays or multis in order for bettors to place wagers at legal, local options.

However, alongside this, for well over two decades, there was also nothing to legally stop Canadians from playing within the huge market of offshore betting sites and online casinos.  Since these operators fell outside Canadian laws, offshore, and there was nothing to stop them from serving Canadians, the term coined for the Canadian market was that of being a "grey market" - neither a legal market, nor an illegal one.

In a short time, SNBET.ca has grown to become an authority on where Canadian consumers can find trustworthy places to play, in Canadian Dollars, while avoiding all manner of scam operators that look to prey on unknowing players.  With our knowledge of international markets, we knew that New Zealand shared many key characteristics with the Canadian market.
